Who are we?
Lucid Studio Design offer acoustic, architectural and interior design for music, post-production, broadcast and education recording studios. Lucid work together with a range of specialist consultants and contractors in the industry to ensure the highest level of professional service is delivered.
Established in 2020 by acoustic engineer and designer Tim Coombes, Lucid Studio Design brings together the art and science of studio design to deliver studios that look as good as they sound. With over 10 years of experience designing recording studios and a life-long involvement in music, Tim brings together a balance of creativity, innovation and meticulous attention to detail.
Tim’s previous clients include Warner Chappell, Defected Records, Wired Masters, ITV, Bowers & Wilkens, Bang & Olufsen, Ted Dwane (Mumford & Sons), Simon Ribchester, Oh Wonder, Dave Bailey (Glass Animals).
